Iphone

Why is Apple's iPhone considered as the best in the world while Android is not which is comparitively better than iPhone in hardware specifications? iPhone  provides security to users, you will not find a single application on App Store which tries to cheat you or will use your own data, whereas there is no any restrictions for Android Phones. I have uploaded one application to the app store, In that application, User have to signup(enter email and password) and then he will login and use my application. Inside application, that email address was not used anywhere. Due to that concern that you are taking email address of user and not using it anywhere in application, they have rejected my application. That application was also made into Android and google have not raised any issue there. So, you can understand that apple cares about you how much. You can not install any application other than app store(and developer apps) on iPhone whereas you can install any application on ...

APPLE

Apple has been named the world's most valuable brand for the second year running, with a net worth of $118.9 billion (£73.5bn). The company retained its number one position in the latest Interbrand Best Global Brands report, but has increased its overall brand value by 21 per cent in the past 12 months. In its report, Interbrand referenced Apple's new mobile payments platform Apple Pay, as well as the company's first wearable device Apple Watch, the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, HomeKit and CarPlay, stating that "Apple’s ambitions are formidable". It added that, while the spotlight was likely to remain on Apple's new products for some time, "the real breakthrough is the way all of Apple's products – and thousands more from other developers, manufacturers and services – now work together". Interbrand's report also ranked technology companies Google, IBM, Microsoft and Samsung in the top ten most valuable brands. Google, valued ...

Can A Human Be Frozen And Brought Back To Life?

Can A Human Be Frozen And Brought Back To Life? We see it all the time in movies. A person gets frozen or put in “cryosleep” and then unfrozen at a later date with no aging taking place, or other ill effects. Sometimes this happens on purpose, like to someone with an incurable disease hoping a cure exists in the future, or sometimes by accident, like someone getting frozen in a glacier. Is there any science behind “cryogenics”? The science behind it does exist and the application of the practice is called  cryonics . It’s a technique used to store a persons body at an extremely low temperature with the hope of one day reviving them. This technique is being performed today, but the technology behind it is still in its infancy. Someone preserved this way is said to be in cryonic suspension. The hope is that, if someone has died from a disease or condition that is currently incurable, they can be “frozen” and then revived in the future when a cure has been discove...

The Speed of the Light!!

The Speed of the Light!! Einstein once called the speed of light “The Universe’s speed limit”. He claimed that traveling faster than the speed of light would violate the causality principle. For the layman, that means cause and effect. An example of this would be a bullet hitting a target before the trigger was even pulled. Accelerating to light speed or exceeding it would also violate certain fundamental energy conditions. It could even allow for  time travel . So why can’t anything go faster than the speed of light? Before we can dive into that, we have to know what the speed of light actually is, what it means, and clear up some common misconceptions regarding this “ universal speed limit “. The speed of light, (or the speed of a photon) in a near-perfect vacuum is exactly  186,282 miles per second . We perceive photons (light) traveling at this speed because they are massless, or have no ‘weight’ (but they do have kinetic energy, more on that in a bit...

Islam - A true religion of peace

An essay donated by Hijab Al Faisal Islam -- A true religion of peace, tranquility & intellect: a moderate Islamic interpretation Terrorism has surfaced as the biggest menace of the current times, particularly in past few decades. Unfortunately and unjustly, Islam and Muslims are deemed by most of the world population to be the root causes of this upsurge of terrorism all across the world. There is no doubt that this is far from accurate. However, a considerable majority of the world's population still blames Islam and Muslims. This is mostly because of the “bad press” deliberately being created against Muslim by the big guns of world media. The best way to authenticate or reject this claim for a common person is to see what the actual teachings of Islam are. Is it really a religion that promotes violence and terrorism, or is the reality totally opposite to this misconception? One convenient way of observing and analyzing all this is to learn what the Holy Qur...

Struga

Struga - City of Poetry "Kako Struga , nema druga." "Si Struga sa tjeter." "There is no other like Struga." Struga is a town and popular tourist destination situated in the south-western region of the Republic of Macedonia, lying on the shore of Lake Ohrid. Once known as "Enchalon" -Eel, Struga has a population of approximetly 15 000 inhabitants. It has been known since the time of the Ilirs, and many old writers of traveling guides have noted that Struga was a very vivid city, with developed trade, great markets and the houses of the wealthy citizens were always beautiful and decorative. That is why the well-known saying: "There is no other place like Struga" exists since then. Except the  Ohrid lake in Struga there is a river called Crn Drim which flows gently through the town, as it does not want to disturb the visitors walking along its banks, thrilled by its crystal clear waters. In the evening when many li...

Better LIFE

How To Make Your Life Easier With Life Hacks Hacking usually refers to the activity in which someone breaks or “hacks” into computers and computer networks for profit, in protest, or because they are motivated by the challenge. The term ‘ life hacks ‘ differs in that it is a phrase which describes tricks, shortcuts, skills, or novelty methods to increase productivity and efficiency, in a persons life. To put it another way, it’s anything that solves an everyday problem in a clever or non-obvious way. They are often thought of as “ life pro tips “. The original definition of the term “hack” was thought to be an inelegant (but effective) solution to specific computing problems. The term was later borrowed to form ‘life hack’, and it originated when computer programmers started using it in a more general sense to refer to the solutions of problems they solved in their every day life. “ Hey Jim, check this out. I found a hack to make my beer last twice as long! ” Today, we’...

Right Handed

Why Are Right-Handed People More Common? It is estimated that between 70-90% of the human population is right-handed. This leaves left-handed individuals vastly outnumbered. But why? Is it our genetics, the brain or even parental/societal pressures which decides our dominant hand? Let’s find out. What Does It Mean To Be Right-Handed? Handedness is a characteristic which refers to the disproportional split of fine motor skills between our right and left hands. A person who has more dexterity with their right hand is “right-handed” and someone who is more skilled with their left is “left-handed”. A small percentage of people are equally skilled with both hands. The term used to describe these people is “ambidextrous”. On the other end of the spectrum, those who are awkward with both hands are said to be ambisinister. Ambisinistrous motor skills are usually caused by debilitating physical conditions and other handicaps. Why Didn’t We Just Evolve To Be Ambidextrous In The...

HONEY Last Forever?

Does Honey Really Last Forever? It’s an extremely common factoid to stumble across. It can be found under Snapple lids, heard on trivia shows, or read about in a chain emails forwarded to you by a friend or relative. The claim is that honey is the only food that cannot spoil. Is there any truth to this? Does honey really last forever? Does Honey Last Forever? In most cases, yes. Honey has an indefinite shelf life. It’s the properties of  processed  honey that keep it from becoming a hotbed of microbes and other things that may spoil or contaminate it. As long as those properties aren’t altered, processed honey has a virtually indefinite shelf life. However, unprocessed honey (like the kind found in a beehive) hasn’t had its impurities filtered out and removed. This means it is more susceptible to being spoiled, and will spoil after about a year. Honey is the only food item that is created with the sole purpose of being stored. Since bees need to eat during th...
